Mongolia - Week of July 12, 2026
Greetings and salutations from the Stans! Welcome to Central Asia! Thank you for the gift of your time in joining my latest adventures. I've just wrapped up my three weeks in Mongolia, transitioning to about a month of travel in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan starting with Almaty, Kazakhstan. What's new with you? What have you learned about yourself over the past week? What have you done to challenge your 'comfort zone?' I'm the guy who, if I drive to the same place repeatedly, will park in different areas to break up the routine. Yes, I have had times when I've momentarily forgotten where I parked that day. An ultimate 'comfort zone' test - try sleeping on the opposite side of the bed for a few nights.
