Egypt/Canada - Week of September 13, 2026

Salaam/Hello/Bonjour, Warm Canadian welcome from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada! I'm back in my home country as of Monday, September 14. Thankfully I 'sailed' through Canadian immigration. My Bajan friend Sam asks me what I would do if Canadian immigration suddenly preventing me from entering the country. That would be an unwelcome surprise! Sam reassures me that Barbados would welcome me with open arms! I'm delighted and honored you've joined in my latest week of adventure. I'm going to try something new in the weeks ahead. Egypt - Week of September 6, 2026

Salaam/Hello from Cairo!  What an unexpected amazing experience in Egypt! So much more than the pyramids and Great Sphinx I had as my key tourist destinations. My Egyptian experience would have ended on Day 1 if I had managed my visit independently. Hahaha! I did have a native Egyptian verify that my tour visited all the key tourist sites - what a welcome endorsement about the destinations visited. Here's a link to my tour itinerary if you're looking for an idea of what you might want to see. The only optional visit I paid for was to visit Abu Simbel.  Thank you for joining me for another week of adventure! How was your week?
