Kazakhstan - Week of August 9, 2026
Greetings from Almaty, Kazakstan! Welcome to my last full week in Kazakhstan and my last stop in Central Asia! What a wonderful surprise exploring this part of our world has been! I'm grateful to have you join in my adventures for this week! What adventures have you been involved with over the past week? Any opportunities for you to share a random act of kindness? What progress have you made with your personal challenge to stretch outside of your comfort zone? Remember that all we have is this moment, right now. We have to make the most of every moment we have! I've truly enjoyed my time visiting Central Asia. Most cities I visited, except for sections of Osh, passed my basic 'level sidewalk without gaping sections missing' test. The city of Almaty is busy redoing its sidewalks to create engaging walking space. Lots of mature trees lining the clean streets, wide boulevards and green space everywhere.
